Sporting Clays

Sporting Clays is a clay target sport created to simulate hunting situations. There is no standard for target presentation and every course is different.

Targets can be a variety of different specialty birds ranging in sizes and shape, or targets made to simulate rabbits. Variations in trap setup and position allow targets to be thrown incoming, outgoing, over head, teal, and a variety of other presentations limited by imagination.

Shooters will shoot from a variety of stations setup on the course with each station providing a set of presentations. All shooters will shoot one station before proceeding to the next station.

Annual Easter Bunny Blast

PSA holds the annual Bunny Blast. This shoot features 2 different 50 target courses and they are all rabbits!

Fees and Info - Weekly Sporting Clays

Round of 50 targets.

Members: $13.00
Non-Members $15.00

Limited supply of ammo available for purchase
Squads are first come first serve, 6 shooters per squad. Will attempt to accommodate groups.
Shooters are not required to be club members to participate
In case of inclement weather, call Dave Latz 717-679-0035 to confirm if open

Summer Hours (April - October)

2nd, 4th, and 5th Saturdays
Signups start around 7:30 am, shooting from 8 am to 1 pm

Winter Hours (See Below)

2nd, 4th, and 5th Saturdays (Oct - Dec)
Every Saturday from Jan to Apr
Signups start at 8:30, shooting from 9 am until 1 pm

Volunteers Needed

Looking for volunteers to help set up sporting clays course, run the shoot, and clean-up at end of the day.
